An excerpt from The Man Who Can't be Moved (an extreme rough draft)
"I sit down on this bench next to the front gate and see dad coming. His pink car is very conspicuous. I mean, no one buys pink cars nowadays. Most people buy black, red and white cars. I remember asking him once about it and he said he wants to be unique. But I said having a pink car isn’t being unique because pink cars are too bright and people would just hate him. He insisted and said he doesn’t care, and he said that’s what makes him unique. I just rolled my eyes. This was 4 years ago when I still liked talking to people, and my family" (sir).
E.V of The Man Who Can't be Moved excerpt
"My eyes roll like they usually do as I see my father pull up in front of the school with his pink car. 'Hey honey.'
He takes off his sunglasses and wink at me. 'Dad, just, no. Your pink car is bad enough. Just, please no.'
I pick up my backpack and walk to his car. I open the passenger seat next to him and I see IN-N-OUT Burgers. 'Thanks for the burgers. And just so you know, I still don't like this color. Please change it soon.'
He ruffles my hair and ignites the engine. 'Stop,' I command him but he only laughs at the annoyance he's providing me" (sir).
Hello, everyone. This section of my website is dedicated to my own work. I will also provide what the purpose of the excerpt is, and what I learned through the excerpt.
