A book review for the best book of all time: Falling by Doug Wilhelm

Matt Shaw is perhaps Jeffords High School's most popular student because he was the star player for his basketball team and people liked him. However, people were shocked when he quit playing basketball and became anti-social. Matt often gets asked about this but the reason remains hidden.

Until one faithful night, Matt and his classmate, Katie, got paired up by chance on an anonymous chat-site. Katie realized that she was chatting with Matt through him saying he’s good at basketball but he’s quit. They chatted online and eventually Katie told Matt that she was the person Matt had been chatting with. The two slowly became friends. Day by day, Katie tries to show Matt that she could be trusted with his personal issues and problems by Katie sharing her personal problems but there is something that’s holding Matt back from telling Katie the truth why he’s changed.

Will Matt ever learn to trust Katie? What is his secret? Why did he quit being Jeffords High School’s best player?

I give this book 10 out of 5 if possible because this book is just extraordinary. This book is not just about a typical romance novel that tells a story about two lovers or two blossoming lovers. This story shows the readers how the decisions of important people in our lives can affect us and how their wrong decisions damage us. I really like this book because the friendship Katie and Matt have in the book is delivered in a very realistic way. This book will teach the reader how to risk your trust on someone you doubt but also love at the same time.
